Leigh Reedy, LISW-CPTherapist
It is my joy to work with couples seeking to improve their relationships and individuals seeking to reduce stress, anxiety and depression that can make life difficult. I work with many mature clients and can bill Medicare, BCBS, and other insurance. I love working with adults of all ages and have experience working in mental health centers, hospitals, foster care agencies, and schools. I have worked in a Sherrif’s department with the staff and victims. Working with trauma victims is a strong suit as I worked in Critical Crisis on-site Response Teams for years. I am grateful to be working with Mt. Hebron and a gifted team of professionals.
I am certified in EMDR, a specialized trauma therapy, also in TFCBT, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy. I also utilize Gottman’s Couple’s Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy.
I believe that most of us are capable of making changes but are seeking guidance and pathways to get us started. Finding a therapist that one can trust, feel affirmed and understood by, can be the first step needed to begin to make the changes you dream about but don’t know how to start.
